If not, why not? Google yourself, what page are showing up on? Yes, do it now. Open up a new tab and type in your business name, not your URL, but your name of your company. Done? Ok, now Google your top keyword or phrase that people should be finding you by. What page did you find, was your business still the first to come up?
Why did I just have you do that? Well on February 5, 2015 Google “tweaked” an algorithm in the way search results are determined. This was not a planned or announced or part of the Penguin or Panda updates. It is more imperative that you keep track of where you are showing up in your own Google searches. This way you can help yourself show up better in searches with putting out more content (aka: Blogging) to steer people to your site. More people visiting your site is not a bad thing, especially if they are looking for you and finding you in their search.
If you are not finding yourself on Google, you need to email me and tell me how you’re searching, and we need to come up with a plan of action quickly. If you just need some clarification, email me and I will be more than happy to help you understand this.
